It always bugged me that an intentional walk counts towards 4 pitches against a pitchers pitch count, yet a pitcher can throw hard over to first to pick off a runner and that doesn’t count at all. Thats got to tire an arm out more than floating one in there. Also when a pitcher fields the ball and has to throw to a base.
