David Debolt | The Mercury News: The Oakland A’s haven’t paid their rent on the Oakland Coliseum. The $1.2 million rent was due on April 1st, but the team informed the Coliseum Authority it had no ability to pay. Oakland and Alameda County, which established the Coliseum Authority, are saddled with $55 million in debt from 1995 renovations to the Coliseum.
