Discussions in regards to the Professional Baseball Agreement between Major League Baseball and Minor League Baseball were put on hold in wake of the Coronavirus pandemic. According to a report by Evan Drellich of The Athletic, those talks are expected to resume in the next couple of weeks. The current PBA is set to expire this fall. Minor league officials have expressed interest in extending the current PBA for another year but that is not something that MLB is interested in at this point.
