Episode 6: The episode of review

What'll happen in the playoffs? What's coming up next on Pitch? We have your answers!

MLB: New York Mets at Philadelphia Phillies Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

Have no fear, your cure for the case of the Mondays is here!

What a show we have for you this week, as host Evan Davis (BtBS, Today's Knuckleball) is joined by Bryan Grosnick (former BtBS Managing Editor, BP, Editor-in-Chief of BP Mets) and Travis Sarandos (BtBS, Disciples of Uecker, Triple-D podcast). As the season wrapped up yesterday, the three discussed what the regular season looked like, they gave their thoughts on how the postseason will shake out, and one very interesting prophecy was made by Bryan about a potential Chicago Cubs-Cleveland Indians World Series match-up. Here’s a hint: It involves a 3-1 series lead and the (potential) NL MVP.

Also featured on this episode is the first of our recurring segments discussing FOX's new show PITCH, with Jen Mac Ramos (BtBS, Yardbarker, MLB Daily Dish) graciously joining us to review the show. From now until the end of the season, we’ll break down the happenings of each episode week by week!

I don’t know if you got the memo, or maybe you just forgot, but we’re on iTunes! Listen to the show, rate us, subscribe to us, and leave us glowing reviews at this location.

Thanks again to Trapdoor Social for letting us use their songs ‘Back to Somewhere’ and ‘Sunshine’ off their new self-titled album. You can find them on iTunes here, on their website here, and on Facebook here. They’re a great band, and you should check them out!

Make sure to follow us on Twitter, tweet us questions, and ask Evan what the cruelest way for the Cubs to not win the World Series would be here.
