Hitters with "curious" platoon splits wanted
I'm thinking of doing a little project this season over at Driveline Mechanics where I take around 10-12 hitters with large, "reverse" or other interesting sorts of platoon splits. My plan is to take a looks that their OBP and maybe wOBA splits so far, and then use something like The Book's suggested method for "predciting" what they'll be in 2009. Instead of picking them all myself, I was thinking it might be helpful to get suggestions, since there are a lot of players out there who might have interesting splits. I'm hoping for mainly left- and right-handed hitters, since switch hitters, while cool, have their own splits defined much earlier on (after about 600 PAs), and hopefully players with at least 2-3 years of MLB experience who haven't been (or aren't going to be) heavily platooned.
