YouTube and Major League Baseball have officially announced the renewal of their global partnership for live baseball broadcasts, as the Google-owned video giant will be streaming 21 games for free in the 2021 regular season.
This will be the third season of YouTube's partnership with the league to stream games, and YouTube was still able to stream four games in September 2020 despite the Covid-19 negative impact on MLS and bestaucasinosites.com last year. This renewal was announced to the public after YouTube launched MLB.TV as an add-on option for its subscribers to watch out-of-market MLB games last month.

In 2021, the "MLB Game of the Week Live on YouTube" will be launched on April 7 at 1 p.m. ET, as defending champions Tampa Bay Rays will be facing off against Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park. There will be additional upcoming games like Los Angeles Angels vs. Houston Astros on April 22 and the Minnesota Twins vs. Cleveland Indians on April 28. The future games will be announced as the schedules of the season come around.
Every baseball fans will have permission to access each broadcast for free from any of their device which includes the free YouTube app on smart TVs, dedicated channel on YouTube TV, or from MLB's YouTube channel. All 21 broadcasts of this campaign will be, as usual, produced by MLB Network's production team as the pregame coverage will be starting 30 minutes before every game's appointed time of play.
Newly introduced to the fans is the "YouTube Player of the Game," where the fans watching the game from their mobile phones and computers will be allowed to vote for the player to receive a trophy during the postgame, which seems to be interesting to best usa online casino.
Another feature exclusive to YouTube is the return of the live chat along with game commentary from over 40 sport-focused YouTube creators and in-game polls for the fans. The YouTube TV subscribers will have the option to watch replays of key plays and will also get real-time statistics from the game.
Speaking to the media, MLB's SVP of global media and business development, Dominick Balsamo said: "The fun and creative engagement opportunities featured in the MLB Game of the Week on YouTube allow us to connect with baseball fans on another level and bring them closer to the game."
According to reports, MLB's first season of game broadcasts on YouTube was a 13-game package brought about by MLB Network that started in July 2019 generated over 1.2 million live average views per game.
