Baseball Prospectus | Rob Arthur ($): Arthur shows that a pitch’s characteristics are more predictive of future performance than results. For example, it’s nice if a pitcher’s curveball induces weak contact, but it’s better if it has elite speed and movement relative to other pitchers’ curves.
