LB Keith Bulluck uses a sabermetric analogy to explain the Titans' quarterback situation.
This is from the great DShepp of Lone Star Ball. Linking it here because this amazing video must be recognized.
What if sports announcers called classical concerts? Skip to the one minute mark, and then it just gets better as it goes on. (Yes, it's just audio.) "And they're off!"
Matt Vasgersian authors the most uncomfortable segue in the history of television in trying to lighten the mood after video of Brad Hawpe being hit in the head by a throw. I really like Vasgersian as a play-by-play man, but that's very unpleasent to watch. It's like something from the British Office, but it's real. . . For what it's worth, I do think Vasgersian was pretty stand up in showing his face to the Kissing Suzy Kolber crowd and owning up to his mistake in the comments section: "I am an idiot .. Save the racial stuff which is just flat out wrong, almost all of what has been posted on my regrettably horrific timing is spot on .. It was a bad decision made on live tv and i can absolutley understand how that make an announcer sound insensitive. Bad on the spot judgement. Nobody feels worse about it than I do guys" HT to Deadspin on both stories.
LOL.....Ryan Braun, Curtis Granderson, Jimmy Rollins & Derek Jeter @ 2009 World Baseball Classic on KayvonTV
Greg Rybarczyk of HitTracker on Baseball Tonight. He's talking about the New Yankee Stadium's home run happiness, which has been pounded to death already, but whatever. It's still cool. I really want a video of Nate Silver, though. . .
