John Shea | San Francisco Chronicle $: Rob Manfred spoke to reporters about the Athletics’ ballpark situation on Tuesday. According to the commissioner, the ‘Oakland process is at the end.’ In the next few months, Manfred expects to know whether the A’s are staying in Oakland.

Justin Choi | FanGraphs: Cristian Javier and Framber Valdez may pitch for the same team, but the two are diametrically opposed. Valdez refuses to allow fly balls, and Javier refuses to get ground balls.
