Kate Preusser | Lookout Landing: The Mariners optioned top prospect Jarred Kelenic to Triple-A Tacoma on Monday. In 23 games, the 21-year-old was hitting .096/.185/.193 for a 14 wRC+. Taking his spot on the roster is Shed Long Jr. who was reinstated from the 60-day IL.

Al Yellon | Bleed Cubbie Blue: Patrick Wisdom has played in parts of four major league seasons, but hasn’t been able to stick. The 29-year-old just won NL Player of the Week honors after hitting six home runs between May 31 and June 6. Will Wisdom stick around now?

Luke Hooper | FanGraphs: It’s June 8 and the Giants are still in first place in the NL West thanks in no small part to contributions from their aged core. After a lousy 2019, Brandon Crawford has hit .259/.339/.500 for a 126 wRC+ going back to the beginning of last season. A new swing is the cause of his resurgence.
