Zach Buchanan | The Athletic $: After Bob Brenly made racist remarks toward Marcus Stroman, former Cub Aramis Ramirez said that Brenly singled him and other Latino players out. Brenly announced that he is taking time away from the booth to “listen, reflect and devote my attention to awareness training related to diversity and inclusion to enhance my understanding and appreciation of others.”

Devan Fink | FanGraphs: MLB’s deadening of the baseball has decreased home runs across the board, but, as is expected, some parks have seen their home run rates drop more than others.

Jon Rimmer | Pinstripe Alley: When DJ LeMahieu left Coors Field behind, it was reasonable to think his park-adjusted numbers would actually improve (wRC+ unfairly penalizes Rockies and Yankee Stadium is a better park for LeMahieu anyway). Instead, LeMahieu performed like an MVP for two seasons. Now, however, LeMahieu is back to being just above average. What gives?
