Thomas Harding | MLB.com: Last Friday, MLB announced that it would move the All-Star Game from Atlanta in response to Georgia’s passing of anti-democratic voting restrictions. Tuesday, the league officially announced that Coors Field in Denver, Colorado would host the 2021 All-Star Game. This isn’t the first time a state has lost a major sporting event due to regressive legislation. The NFL moved the 1993 Super Bowl from Arizona after the state voted not to make Martin Luther King Jr. Day a paid holiday.
Dayn Perry & Mike Axisa | CBS Sports: Fernando Tatís Jr. will not need surgery to repair a slight labrum tear in his left shoulder. Tatís injured himself swinging at a pitch during Monday night’s game against the Giants. There’s no definite timetable on his return, and the star shortstop has been moved to the 10-day IL in the meantime.
Ryan Pavich | Pinstripe Alley: The Yankees traded for Rougned Odor on Tuesday. Odor had been DFA’d by the Rangers at the end of spring training. In return, the Rangers are receiving Antonio Cabello and Josh Stowers.
