Darby Robinson | DRays Bay: Three years after the Rays traded him to Pittsburgh, Tampa Bay has brought back Chris Archer on a one-year deal worth $6.5 million. Because he opted out of the 2020 season, 2019 was Archer’s last full season, and his only full season with Pittsburgh. It was also his worst season a major leaguer. Apparently, the Rays are convinced they can fix whatever the Pirates screwed up.

Tony Wolfe | Red Reporter: Sean Doolittle signed with the Cincinnati Reds on Tuesday. The deal is for one year and is worth a guaranteed $1.5 million. Doolittle’s best days are likely behind as the 34-year-old saw a dip in velocity last year, but the Reds have been successful at improving zip on the fastball.
