Astros clinch; Atlanta clinches; Giants can clinch tonight

Juan Páez | Crawfish Boxes: The Astros clinched their fourth division title in five years with a 3-2 win over the Rays. Dusty Baker also became the first manager to clinch a division title with five different teams. The Astros will play the White Sox in the Divisional Series starting next Thursday.

Kris Willis | Talking Chop: Atlanta swept the Phillies to clinch the NL East. This is Atlanta’s fourth-straight postseason berth, and they’ll face the Brewers in the Divisional Series starting Friday.

Late Night LaMonte Wade Jr. delivered the game-winning hit. The Giants’ magic number is down to two, so they can clinch the NL West with a win Friday night and a Dodgers loss.
