J.J. Cooper | Baseball America: The 2020 amateur draft will be shortened, but it still hasn’t been announced if it will be cut to 10 rounds or 5. The decision should be coming soon as teams were told they could expect a final decision a month out.

Dan Szymborski | FanGraphs: One of the great what ifs of the 21st century is what if Joe Mauer didn’t suffer a concussion in 2013. Mauer didn’t play another game behind the dish—aside from one last hurrah before retirement—and he dealt with blurred vision, both of which severely impacted his career WAR.
