A look at some links and news and notes as we await the return of training and eventually real MLB games:

  • ($) Eno Sarris of The Athletic came out with a list of baseball books to pass the time until games resume. The list includes topics such as the home run / fly ball revolution, the 2019 Nationals run, and the interfection of sports and psychology.
  • Matt Spiegel of Chicago’s 670 The Score, reported rumors that MLB is considering a 100-game season starting July 1st. It’s a ways out, but would be a welcome return.
  • Joel Sherman of the New York Post discusses baseball without fans in an abbreviated 2020 season.
