MLB: Spring Training-Tampa Bay Rays at Baltimore Orioles Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

FanGraphs | Ben Clemens: In September, Trevor Bauer saw a huge spike in his four-seam fastball spin rate. While it could have just been tar, it seems like the trend was holding for a few games, evidencing that he’s possibly using a new technique to bump up his fastball movement despite losing a tick of velocity.

The Ringer | Ben Lindbergh: In another era, Mitch Keller’s high ERA may have knocked him off a big league roster. But with knowledge about his actual stuff (which is great) and his exceptionally poor batted ball luck, he could very well be a 2020 breakout candidate.

The Athletic | Keith Law ($): Nothing much more to say than this is a farm system ranking, and I always find these interesting. The Rays and Braves top this list, and it’s bottomed out by the Cubs, Nationals, and Brewers.
