MLB: Milwaukee Brewers at Washington Nationals Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

FanGraphs | Rian Watt: The Padres signed Brian Dozier to a minor league deal, just a sign of how much his stock has fallen, even just in this offseason when most predicted he could get a one- or two-year deal worth a few million dollars.

Baseball Prospectus | Trevor Strunk ($): With all the talk of Mookie Betts and front offices’ insistence on fiscal responsibility at all costs, it’s important to remember that teams don’t just have obligations to themselves but also to fans, and we deserve better from them then saving money so they can not spend money at all.

The Athletic | Keith Law ($): As per usual, Law has released his top prospect list, this time by way of The Athletic. I recommend reading the usual Wander Franco and Jo Adell write-ups, but I won’t surprise the rest of the list that you should still read.
