Max Rieper | Royals Review: Carlos Santana signed a two-year, $17.5 million deal with the Kansas City Royals on Tuesday. Santana is coming off a strange season in which he hit just below the Mendoza line but led the American League in walks.

Brett Ballantini | South Side Sox: Adam Eaton is returning to the White Sox. On Tuesday, the outfielder signed a one-year, $7 million contract to return to the team that originally traded him for Lucas Giolito, Dane Dunning, and Reynaldo López. Judging by the reaction at South Side Sox, this might not be a grand homecoming.

Craig Edwards | FanGraphs: Speaking of Dane Dunning and the White Sox, the team traded him to the Rangers for Lance Lynn late Monday night. Craig Edwards broke the deal down for both sides. The White Sox receive someone who has been a top-10 starter the past two seasons, and the Rangers get a solid back-of-the-rotation piece under team control plus a lottery ticket in Avery Weems.
