FanGraphs | Jeff Sullivan: Madison Bumgarner has one year and $12 million of his deal with the Giants, and might be traded. But don’t expect him to get much, as the ~$10-15 million in likely surplus value wouldn’t even be worth a 50 FV prospect, let alone a haul close to a James Paxton deal.

Baseball Prospectus | Rob Mains ($): The quality start may be waning, but you know what isn’t? A quality start for a reliever, which had its highest total (15) in the 30-team era. Four of those were to relieve Ryne Stanek, and two for Sergio Romo, just to give a taste of how Rays-heavy that is.

Bill James Online | Bill James: James looks at possible Win Share totals for rookies, headed by the likes of Ronald Acuna Jr., Gleyber Torres, Juan Soto, and Shohei Ohtani, while also looking at disappointments like Lewis Brinson and Scott Kingery.
