FanGraphs | Craig Edwards: Because the Braves’ financial information is available to stockholders, it is then semi-public. We have learned they made a $100 million profit despite a not-quite-top-ten attendance and a bad TV deal, which probably speaks to the unspeakable money made by bigger market teams.

Baseball Prospectus | Matthew Trueblood: People are probably sleeping on how good Max Kepler can be. Despite a frustrating development path, his plus defense and the potential plate discipline improvements mean he could be one of the better outfielders in baseball next year—period.

The Ringer | Michael Baumann: Not every team can sign Manny Machado, but you can sign Marwin Gonzalez. If you can’t sign Bryce Harper, there’s always Josh Donaldson. And if you can’t sign Patrick Corbin, Charlie Morton is a solid alternative.
