So I bet you’ve been wondering, where does In Play, Pod(cast) go after providing an offseason preview of all 30 teams? Well, the answer is across the Pacific Ocean. Host Evan Davis (BtBS, Today's Knuckleball) and co-host Nick Stellini (BtBS, FanGraphs) are joined by Kazuto Yamazaki (BtBS, Sydney Blue Sox) and Sung Min Kim (former-BtBS, River Avenue Blues). Nick Stellini leads an informative conversation with Kazuto and Sung about the styles of play in both Japanese and Korean leagues, players to watch out for, Shohei Otani, usage of High School-level pitchers, and more. In addition to that, Evan Davis and Stellini lead a discussion of the most-recent episode of Pitch. Joining them this week are the PITCHf/ox recappers over at Baseball Prospectus, Meg Rowley (Baseball Prospectus) and Jarrett Seidler (Baseball Prospectus, BP Mets). It’s a great episode to start your Tuesday with! That is, unless it is finals week for you. In that case, we wish you all the luck that a baseball blog that looks to root out luck can give:
