I jumped up and dopwn that [the Nationals] should 1) go hard after Teixeira, 2) get either Dunn or Orlando Hudson if they didn't get Tex and not make excuses, 3) add a quality middle-inning free agent reliever. They offered $188M for Teixeira. The long shot did come in. They got Dunn a lot cheaper than I thought they could. I'd have bitten earlier and overpaid. Hudson didn't pass the Nats physical.
