His inspiration is David Purcey, but almost every team has one; Daniel Cabrera, Edwin Jackson, Fausto Carmona, Dontrelle Willis, even a guy like Jon Lester. I would guess this has a lot to do with the quantity of quality pitchers being lower and leaving teams digging for project arms.
