The final Power Rankings of the Year: how did your team finish?
Our power rakings use estimates of runs scored and runs allowed, plus a league adjustment, to rank teams. This week, the Rockies continue to surge, the Athletics (almost) get out of the basement, and the Royals and Mets fall toward oblivion.
The Angels re-take the AL West lead (on paper), while the Phillies may need to worry about the Braves more than the Marlins or Mets. Finally, the Dodgers kick the Blue Jays out of 4th place in our rankings.
The Rays build their lead at the top, while the White Sox surge in the AL Central. And the poor NL Central just isn't looking very good.
The Rockies are en fuego, the Royals are slipping, and the Rangers re-take their spot on top of the AL West in this edition of the BtB Power Rankings.
New on-paper division leaders, and a surprise on-paper wild card team in the NL. Plus discussion of differences between our rankings and actual team performance to date.
