Hey Everyone,
I am a new member enthusiastically looking forward to contributing on BTB. I have always been interested in Saber-metrics but only recently have I downloaded a database that enables myself to delve into the deeper dimensions of research( BDB and Lahman). However, I am not educated in SQL coding nor how to make the appropriate query commands that yields the information I am looking for. Is it a good use of time to learn the SQL code? And, if not: Is there any pre-created queries that I can find online? I know there was that "Saberizing a Mac" series a while ago and I followed it closely. Also, i would appreciate suggestions of which databases some of you use and other useful sources that are essential for research.
All the best,
Max
