Looking for Pitchers That Had Tommy John Surgery

I am looking to research all aspects of Tommy John surgery, including history, return times, effect on pitcher after returning, longevity, etc.  The first item I need is a list of actual pitchers that have had the surgery.  I have gone and collected quite a list, but I really want to make sure I have all of the earliest attempts.  Could you look through the following list to see if there is any one missing?  I may be missing some that happened in the last few months, but may not look at them anyway as I mainly want to see return times and effects once they return.  I really want to make sure the list is complete as possible pre-2000.  Thanks -Jeff

Probably not within your scope of study

But Andrew Bailey had Tommy John surgery in college.

If pitching is an art, batting is criticism. The batter's job is to destroy every cliche he sees.

Jordan Zimmermann

You do not have Jordan Zimmermann on your list. He had tommy john in 2009 and returned late 2010 and is currently in the Nats starting rotation.

Guessing you only want guys who have pitched in the majors?

No first round picks still in the minors? (Casey Weathers)

As for the Minnesota Twins

You might want to focus on the most recent cases on the team. That would be Francisco Liriano who has struggled in 08 and 09 to the point that he wasn’t the pitcher he was in 2006, and he seems to be lacking in the will and determination to be a good pitcher even to the point of shunning off-season condititioning. Meanwhile Joe Nathan picked up where he left off in 2009 (Game 2 of the 09 ALDS vs New York was just another bad day) and that is doing his job though he did almost blow his first save chance of the season in Toronto, but he usually has a rough start to the season anyway.

Thanks, maybe

Currently the list is around 350 players. Hopefully we can get all the information available for all somewhat soon
