The Mets have been bad at Shutdown Innings in 2011.

A Shutdown Inning occurs when a team follows a half-inning in which they scored at least one run with a half-inning in which they allowed no runs.

The above illustrates the amount of Shutdown Innings the Mets pitchers have tallied so far in 2011 against those of their opponents (as well as the amount of runs scored in non-shutdown innings).
