You know who has a really, really underrated system?
The Twins.

Agreed, it's a sneaky good system
They have some premium guys (Hicks, Gibson, Sano), a good second tier (Revere, Benson, Wimmers, Arcia, Salcedo) and some solid depth as well. Keith Law ranked them as the No. 7 farm system in the game- I think that might be about right.

Now that I've thought about it, there is one player i'd change.
And that’s bumping Eric Hosmer up to 3. And I’m serious

I mean, obviously I agree since I have Hosmer at 3
I absolutely love the guy.

except Kenshin Kawakami is going to the Royals and they’re sending Cheslor Cuthbert back to Atlanta.

It has been amazing that Dayton has gone the entire off season and not sign Kevin Millwood.

Personally, I think Banuelos is the entire package
Not sure if Dave is hearing different things about his delivery or his stuff, but I think that he’s going to be great. He turns 20 in five days, but he’s already got three pitches that flash above-average to plus, and his command of his fastball is already strong. I think he’s got pretty much everything you want from a developing young lefty; he’s got more upside than Britton, and I think he’s more likely to reach that upside than Moore or Chapman. Obviously those guys are bunched closely together for me, but the big point is that I put Banuelos in that tier with those guys, while Dave seemingly doesn’t.

I realize being ranked #6 is pretty high praise, but if you had compiled this list two weeks ago would Dom Brown be ranked higher? If so, did he drop because of his play or his injury? Great lists, and thanks for the hard work that must have gone into compiling them.
Cant speak for Satch
But I did these rankings before his hand injury

Thanks a lot
And like Dave, I had Brown in that spot before the injury. I just worry about the swing, which can get a little long, and his defensive reads are pretty poor. He’s obviously got room to improve and he’ll likely make some adjustments on the go while playing in Philly, but I preferred the five guys I placed in front of him.

I mean, I don't see it as a huge difference. He's one of the best in the game
I just think baseball is loaded with good prospects. I could easily have him where you did

Dave- I had him in the same spot that you did.
Our lists start out pretty similar until you get into Machado, Ackley and Banuelos for me.

I mean, I would argue that No. 10 vs. No. 26 is a pretty significant difference
Particularly considering that he’s my No. 3 pitching prospect and he’s your No. 14 pitching prospect. That’s massive.

I'm still not sold on Dominic Brown
Don’t have a rational reason for it, admittedly, but something about Brown doesn’t sit right with me as an elite prospect. There are numbers, sure, but I have this feeling he’s the Phillies’ version of F-Mart.
Then again, prospects aren’t my thing.

And he’s always been overrated. Other than his signing bonus and ARL, there’s been barely anything that has shown he’d be a star.

Very Interesting Lists
The bottom of the lists have a lot of guys that aren’t generally thought of as top 100 guys.Cuthbert, Puello (mostly), Owings, Hechevaria, Altherr, Cuthbert. Not bad lists, just a few things I noticed.
Long time lurker, new time poster.
I think that the 80-100 range is where guys tend to deviate from the norm the most
And so you tend to see the places where one evaluator is particularly high on the guy. I really like Puello, Owings and Hechavarria (sucker for up-the-middle guys, I guess), and there are reasons to buy into Altherr and Cuthbert, although they’re both awfully raw. If you buy into the tools that much, though, there’s no reason why they can’t be on the back-end of these kinds of lists.

I have some Giants questions
Natch! :^)
To what would the two of you attribute to the big difference between Dave placing Zack Wheeler at #66 and Satchel putting him at #43? To me, I see high K-rate, high GB/FB rate, what’s not to like?
I have seen two other Giants make Top 100 lists, or nearly make, Gary Brown (he was second choice for 101 that Goldstein had) and Thomas Neal. I would like to see your thoughts on the two, particularly Brown, and where do you think they would have placed in your lists had you gone past 100 (OK if you had no idea, just trying to get feel).
Thanks!

I literally cut Brown at the last minute
I was waffling between him, Jones, Puello and Anthony Gose, but in the end I decided to go with Jones and Puello for a variety of reasons. Brown would come in the next 5-10 guys for me, though; I think his potential in terms of OBP, base-running and defense is pretty big.
As for Wheeler, as you said, what’s not to like? He’s still pretty raw, but he’s got the big fastball, he’s flashed four average pitches and he’s got the build of a workhorse. He’s got legitimate No. 1 potential, and you can’t say that about a lot of guys.
