1927 film of Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig found in a cellar
Very cool article from today's NY Times about a piece of film, circa 1927, which was found in an old wine cellar and features Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig taking part in some leisure time with fans during their barnstorming tour. If the film's suspected date is legitimate, that would mean this video is from the same year in which Murderer's Row became infamous; also the same year Lou Gehrig won his first MVP Award and Babe Ruth hit a monstrous 60 home runs. Very interesting.
