This was inspired by Berkman.

Usually, you don’t see too many guys with his offense, so far into their careers, and just at 46.1 rWAR. The offense is there — 389 RAA — but the -78 from position, -21 from TZ, -16 from baserunning and -7 from ROE take their toll.

Rest of the Top 10:

6. Willie Stargell (57.5)
7. Dick Allen (61.2)
8. Mark McGwire (63.1)
9. Willie McCovey (65.1)
10. Edgar Martinez (67.2)

Interesting list

One request: could we see this list broken down into its components? I’d like to see just how much each player’s offense was offset by the other categories.
