Not sure how much time I’ll be in front of the TV today, but I’ll probably start the day with the Yankees game, then switch to the Braves because I’ve never actually seen Tommy Hanson.
Rays-Angels sounds like a good way to end the day.
That pitching matchup could be fun.
Doug Davis has had a weird year. Huge 9 K/9 (swinging strike percentage down, though) with typical 4 BB/9 and 1 HR/9 numbers. 4.00 FIP, 4.02 xFIP, but an 8.13 ERA in 27 2/3 innings. Hello, .456 BABIP. Better GB% than career right now, too. I guess K/9 could be inflated by pitching to more batters per inning.
