OK, this is the part where I strenuously object to relying solely on WAR when evaluating a player's Hall of Fame candidacy.
Great read as Rob describes the difficulty with electing GMs, the problem with politics on the committee, and the limitation of WAR when used to look at potential candidates of specific positions.
Maybe it's time for a positional break-out of the HoF-Zone?
