Negro League Museum Close to Folding
This is pretty sad. JoPo is going to have a large piece on it later this week.

This would really be a tragedy,
but I have to hope that — even if it does close down — somewhere else will be able to preserve the relics and continue the history.

I've been there
and was not too impressed, mostly because the museum just doesn’t have very much content. It only takes about twenty minutes to go through, and there are very few relics. Worst of all, it doesn’t explain much about either the role of the Negro Leagues in baseball history or about the Negro Leagues’ great players.
The idea of a Negro Leagues Hall of Fame is a good one. The problem is that the one we’ve got isn’t very good.
Arthur Bryant’s isn’t very far away, though.
It's pronounced Poo-ZHOLS in Catalan.
