Joe Sewell's BB/K Ratio
I was looking through FanGraphs today, and looked at the graphs of my favorite player of all time, Joe Sewell. This is his BB/K rate compared to the league average. Notice the lack of the green line for Sewell. Sewell's career BB/K Ratio was 7.39, and as high as 18.67 some seasons. That's right. Joe Sewell's batting eye was *literally* off the charts.

BB/K Ratio Report
Sewell’s numbers are quite impressive. Tommy Holmes is another one with some high ratios (64 bb vs 10 k’s in one season). Here’s a report where you can have some fun looking at the top 25 by league by season:
