Sucks for the Rockies, they are right in the middle of the Wild Card race.
But why does Brooks have the dots so small? It would seem like a simple change to make them bigger and have more distinguishable colors.

The entire chart is shrunk for the FanShot...
But I agree, it’s hard to do a Pitch F/X post using them because you have to squint to differentiate some of the points.
And, for a laugh at the algorithm:
I wonder how many of those last few pitches were actually changeups. Also, does anyone know how it seperates Fastballs (FA), Fourseam Fastballs (FF), and Twoseam Fastballs (FT)?

I meant how is a Fastball different from the fourseam or twoseam?
Or is it the unknown fast pitch with high RPMs?

Generic fastball
Not able, for one reason or another, to split FF from FT. FT becomes SI for “known” sinkerballers post hoc, btw.
