I wish players on the Royal's were "cold" like Albert is right now.

What 1% of leagues don’t own Pujols?
I am like your Dan Aykroyd and biglow would be Jane, the ignorant slut. -Chad
Well, of course.
It’s called repossession when you take back something that was stolen FROM you. :)

that's actually pretty impressive
think of all the AL-onlly leagyue, they have to be more than 1%, right?

I'm in an NL West and East leauge
they’re uncommon, but they’re out there. Fantasy sites don’t give enough options to customize so there will always be cases like this. Although, I’m not sure how sites come up with 100% owned figures … maybe they just take an average of the highest owned players and call that 100%.

On this same page, Ronny Cedeno was listed as "Hot"
Since when is 5 homers a bad week?
I never really liked the old tagline.
CougCenter
actually, now that I think of it
couldn’t this just be from a bizarro league? I don’t know if Yahoo has them, but CBS does
THAT is how we should do a WAR league next season.Have strict PA/IP minimums, as well as a salary FLOOR…
Finally, Miike Jacobs and Jose Guillen would get the Draft Day respect they deserve.

By bizarro, do you mean try to do as bad as possible?
I like the general way BPro does their Hacking Mass competition: you get credit for performance below a certain OPS cutoff that’s good. So instead of WAR, maybe we can use Wins Below Average, so that both being bad and accumulating PA/IP would be “good”. From Fangraphs we can get batting, fielding, and positional relative to average…

Yeah, that's what I mean
hoonestly, I’ve never messed with Hacking Mass.
I don’t nkow how CBS does it (cuomstizable) I assumed that it could be like any league, you just have to have really strict minimums. Darin Erstand was a MONSTER bizarro player when he was a full-timer (trad roto).
I like the WAR leagues, but I’m actually thinking of writing on why I prefer trad. roto. I like the disconnect between sabermetric analysis and actual results — meaning, I like to use analysis to predict results, rather than just using measuring the “analytic tools.” Okay, I’m not making much sense…
It would be fun to set up a differen tleague with either WAR/WAA, but another fun to base it on a bunch of random (but thoughtfully distributed) stats, either positive or negative. We could do “Clutch,” or a pitch-type lwts league, or even weirdly distribute things — have a category of the team that has the largest number of standard deviations between offensive and defensive runs above average.
Okay, now I’m just obviously avoiding work.
