We're Having a Sunday Night Game Thread Party
Bumping this as a reminder...
On Sunday night, ESPN is televising the Dodgers-Cubs game at 8:05 EDT. Sure, their announcers can be annoying, but these are two very good teams and we're all going to watch anyway. So why not get together and talk baseball, game thread style? We can comment on the game, make avatar prop bets, and discuss whatever other baseball topics pop up. Look for a game thread on the front page of the site about thirty minutes before the game starts. I'll bring my big foam Manny syringe.

Is this going to be a new tradition for every Sunday Night game?

Let's see how it goes, first. I think it could be really cool, though.
Beyond the Boxscore // Calling BJ Upton lazy is lazy.
Why not just use the comments section?
Like every other SBN blog.

Agreed.
Leave it unmoderated and see what topics come up.
If you were thinking, you wouldn't have thought that.
Well, not completely unmoderated.
Still gotta block the stupid stuff (excessive cursing, ads, trolling), but allow everyone to participate.
Similar to the comments,
a CiL format allows the “mods” to choose questions and direction.
If you were thinking, you wouldn't have thought that.
I second that

It'll be a regular game thread. Dan just used the word "chat".

When he said "make a chat", I thought he meant he'd create one
Not that he’d be able to be at one. I see now

/respectful teen attitude
Actually that's what I thought it would be.. my bad
Let me rephrase. I’ll actually be able to make something we’re doing live!
