Radio Debate About Accountability of Bloggers
SBN's Colts blog, Stampede Blue, was called out by Indianapolis Star columnist Bob Kravitz in a Friday, May 15th column. In the article, Kravitz called Stampede Blue writer BigBlueShoe a "weenie" and a "pansy" for blogging under a pseudonym. BigBlueShoe went on Kravitz's ESPN Radio show later in the day and debated with Kravitz on the topic of blogger accountability.
BigBlueShoe makes some awesome points about accountability in the media and the changing media landscape. Kravitz wasn't dumb, but repeated his point over and over again, and didn't get why accountability isn't tied to a real name.
The link is to an mp3. The interview lasts one radio segment, and while it's a little slow in the middle, the last third is the best part.

Hey, do you know what the real problem with bloggers is?
Many of them use aliases. Seriously.
You’re the worst. “Sky Kalkman?” That’s obviously made up, just like “Wolf Blitzer.”
I'm not a sabermetrician, but I do play one at Driveline Mechanics.
