I think we sometimes forget he used to be a pretty damn good ballplayer, before he was a punchline with the Mets. He looks better than he was here given those around him, but you know what I mean.
Without looking...
I would think it’s someone besides Green. I want to say Koufax just for his peak years, but I’m sure there’s another Hall of Famer that is obvious I’m forgetting about.
