Trevor Cahill's debut in Pitch F/X
One of Oaklands top pitching prospects had an iffy debut against the Angels. Here is how it looked through the Pitch F/X camera.

Overthrowing could explain those pitch locations
Have you compared it to his one pre-season game that has PFX? There’s also an inning he worked in the 2008 Futures game

I didn't compare it
I wouldn’t really look at the Futures Game data, simply because in one inning guys can just reach back and it can give a false data set compared to the usual.
I think that we will see him more down in the zone as the season goes along. The scouting reports have him just pounding the bottom of the zone with his sinker in the minors. It will be interesting to see how this start compares to his next 3-5 in terms of just overall location of his pitches. The change up velocity does concern me some.
