I got Kinsler for #4, Magglio in #5, Grienke and Billingsley in #6.
I guessed Derek Lowe for #8 and Chien Ming Wang for #9.

Oliver Perez
Cards just played the Mets and the ERA looked familiar. Not to mention it seemed the Cards popped up on the infield more than once

Verlander, Kinsler, and Greinke,
So, two and a half
But I think I may have gotten Cabrera if I had read “answers after the jump” and not clicked on read the whole article before I had made my choices. Probably not though.
Also, did I see a “fiver” in there?

8. League-leading 86.5% GB% at 92.0 mph average (so says BIS)
8. Fausto Carmona
Not sure where you’re getting this (is it all BIS or just the mph?), but according to FanGraphs Fausto’s GB% is 42.1%, which is of course nowhere near the league lead and is pretty awful for him.

Oh, I see. His FB (as in fastball, rather than fly ball) percentage is 86.5%.

Yeah, my bad. I actually out-thought myself here.
I originally typed FB%, then looking back, I thought “no way he has a fly ball % that high, I must have meant GB%”. But no, I meant fastball percentage. It’s now changed.

For the starters yet to yield a homer, you forgot Jair Jurrjens

Not sure why neither he nor Wellemeyer weren't on the leaderboard. Both had more IP than team games even before last night.

Todd Wellemeyer hasn't allowed a HR in three starts
He had allowed 29 hits, but no homers.

And how does a guy with 23 ab qualify?

You're right, he doesn't.
This all started with him, and I originally didn’t have that qualification.
