Hitters with "curious" platoon splits wanted
I'm thinking of doing a little project this season over at Driveline Mechanics where I take around 10-12 hitters with large, "reverse" or other interesting sorts of platoon splits. My plan is to take a looks that their OBP and maybe wOBA splits so far, and then use something like The Book's suggested method for "predciting" what they'll be in 2009.
Instead of picking them all myself, I was thinking it might be helpful to get suggestions, since there are a lot of players out there who might have interesting splits. I'm hoping for mainly left- and right-handed hitters, since switch hitters, while cool, have their own splits defined much earlier on (after about 600 PAs), and hopefully players with at least 2-3 years of MLB experience who haven't been (or aren't going to be) heavily platooned.
Please post the suggestions in the comments to the linked blog post, if you can, and thanks in advance.

Joe Mauer
Had a fairly extreme “reverse” split last year, although based on his previous performance it’s probably a one-season fluke.
Matt Holliday - Reverse
.329 against righties, .293 vs lefties

Iwamura has a reverse platoon split…of about .010 in OPS. There is about a 300 PA sample size difference that probably accounts for the difference.

thanks, keep them coming
if you have time, could you post these in the comments at Driveline so that I have them all in one place?

ryan ludwick (RHB), for his career
vs lefties, 499 PA, .235/.315/.481 (.795 OPS)
vs righties, 748 PA, .297/.363/.532 (.895 OPS)
- So, to ease his pain, you're supposed to take him to a ball game?
- Yes.

I actually don't mind
Ludwick seems like a sure thing to produce, but we don’t know what we are going to get out of Duncan, Rasmus and Ankiel. It might make sense to give them more playing time, until we know who should be starting out of those three.

Thanks to all who suggested names. They aren’t all in there, but most of them are.
