Short answer: yes.
Almost as short answer: Baseball On A Stick. I have only done one Pitch f/x analysis and quite frankly it wasn’t very good. Harry Pav could probably tell you more than I do.
I'm not looking to do an analysis
I doubt that I would know what I am talking about. But I though it would be interesting to map certain players FB’s in different ball parks. For example, I will be putting up a fanshot soon of Adrian Gonzalez’s FB outs in Petco mapped out onto Citizens Bank Park. I am using MLB.com’s player hit chart, however, It won’t look very pretty and they don’t have a chart for pitchers.

You can certainly use the setup I mentioned for that sort of thing. (Plotting hit locations is probably my primary use of Gameday data.) Peter Jensen has an article coming out on THT soon that says a lot of useful things about that dataset.
