Two of my favorite left-handed, first-base playing, drinking and smoking wise guys. Turns out only one would become a good broadcaster, and he was the better player, too.

Keith Hernandez belongs in the HOF!
Love Keith Hernandez. He also ranks better defensively according to TZ there, +113 to +84.
If you want to get the Met and Yankee fans riled up, you might try Hernadez vs. Jeter . Very close in career WAR, with Jeter maybe still having a few years left likely to end up ahead.
When you're talking about a guy with that can spit on two peole with one loogy,
he’s going ot be something special.
