Graph of the Day: Wright is Good, HoJo Good
I was looking production by Mets third basemen - Hubie Brooks sucked more than I remembered, but HoJo was better.

hojo was a great player
but david wright has done all of this before his age 26 season, ’87, ’89 and ’91 were at 26, 28 and 30 respectively.
as an offensive third baseman, i have to say that wright’s best comp is someone more like Jim Ray Hart, but with speed. though i’d love to say it was richie allen, he’s definitely not there yet.
it’s probably safe to say that he’s better defensively than those two and a glance at HoJo’s range factor would suggest that Wright is better than him, too.
In sum, David Wright’s really good.
