We Need More Graphs
Graphs are like poetry: I think.
Don't forget to throw one or two of your works into our BtB graph contest and win prizes(!), here's a few of my own:

For wild pitch/passed ball analysis maybe?

Right now just balls in the dirt
But you’ve already hit on where I want to take it next

LOL
Fun watching Sky and R.J. figure it out. I want to add the catcher’s box and get more precise on the measurements, but it helps visualize the whole thing. What we’re finding is the cutoff for a pitch in the dirt may be different based on the x coordinate. Or is different. -2.8 is caught, barely, if it is straight, but one hopped if it’s wide towards the batter’s box, for example.

Yes, good call on pitches off to the side being caught less often.
Hadn’t thought of that.

we think we're on to something, and we'll see
if we’re right, but that could be part of the difference between the “formula” for in the dirt and the stringers’ notations.

Maybe everyone is keeping their awesome graphs on hold until Friday so no one will steal their ideas.
Venn diagrams and Flow charts are fun. Maybe I’ll try one of those.

I may end up pushing the deadline back to give folks a weekend to work on things...

FTR, I’m not affiliated with them in any way. Just good comedic relief.
For those children who claimed they’ve been a fan of their favorite team all their life, or even since they were about four or five years old: bullshit. There’s always that certain event or certain player that draws to the sport and draws you to a team. For me, Nomar Garciaparra was that reason. - Nick Coviello: I Try To See Rocco, But All I Think Is Nomar; 1/9/09
Any way to upload bitmap's of jpeg's to fanposts?
Or a way to make a bitmap or jpeg into a website to post the URL?

Not directly. I'll make a feature request to the SBN tech crew, though.
I’d just open a flickr account for stuff like this.
