Erik Manning Joins the BtB Team

Please help me to welcome Erik Manning to Beyond the Box Score. You might know him from places like Future Redbirds, Viva El Birdos, and Play a Hard Nine. I'm personally a big fan of how Erik writes using sabermetrics and not necessarily about sabermetrics. He's also a big farm system guy, a topic of discussion we could use more of here at BtB. Look for a couple posts a week from Erik, at least until we can convince him it's worth posting more often in exchange for an office with a window.

there are quite a few of us who can use a computer
but we get a bad rap as it pertains to coherency. For example, the stltoday.com forums.
