NBA All-Star Weekend Adds HORSE, What Could MLB All-Star Festivities Add?
- Long distance throwing contest?
- Something like football tire throw but with a baseball?
- Fastest ball thrown? (similar to hardest hockey shot)
- Hot Spot (NBA Jam style) hitting contest?
- Maybe MLB just doesn't lend itself to these competitions?

i think a time trial
from the batters box around to home plate could be cool.

I wonder how many people are going to throw their arms out for 1 and 3.
Maybe some type of timed skills challenge. Run to 1st, stop, throw a ball a certain distance through a hoop/tire/whatever, run to second, stop, throw, etc. You could try to involve hitting there too (off of a tee to keep it consistent since its timed).

who has the most interesting group of skanks in the All-Star host town?
Bringing you more-or-less replacement level analysis and commentary since sometime in 2008.

Two ideas
- Fielding competition, separate for infielders and outfielders, where a Jugs cannon launches “random” groundballs or flyballs and players try to track them down.
- Hitting challenge off of pitching machine or BP coach, where batters have to hit a ball into a bunch of different zones (five infield holes, outfield gaps, homeruns, etc.) in the fewest number of pitches.
