Survey on Attendance
This is a survey written by Dylan Jesse, a student at the University of South Carolina. He is attempting to evaluate the causal factors responsible for the decline in sports attendance in 2008, particularly in MLB.
Take a minute to answer the survey. He has promised to provide us with the results at the completion of his project.

Survey seems flawed
Seems to imply
1) that I leave my basement and actually attend games.
2) that there are sports other than baseball that actually hold games that I could attend.
Weird.

I filled out the survey, but JinAZ is correct.
Why don’t I attend Hockey or NBA games? I had to put “travel cost” as a 7 and everything else as a neutral 4 because KC has neither. More importantly, hockey sucks and the closest NBA team is 10 hours away in any direction (Denver, Dallas, Minneapolis, Chicago, Cleveland).
The fact that Oklahoma is getting a team before KC still bothers me. And yes, I know we had one and KC is a fickle sports town not likely to support another team.
See Data Differently.
